Westmalle Tripel

A light, strong beer with a golden color and an alcohol content of 9.5%. It is distinguished by a hoppy taste, a slight bitterness and a fruity aroma with hints of vanilla and a long, dry and pleasantly bitter aftertaste. This is the first example of a Trappist beer Tripel. "Westmalle" is a Trappist beer produced and bottled in the brewery of the abbey "Notre-Dame du Sacré-Cœur" in the village of Westmalle (Belgium). Westmalle is one of the eight Trappist beer brands.
