Finnish Craft Beers — Scandinavian Precision and Uncompromising Hops
Finland is a country that does things quietly but at an exceptionally high level — and craft beer is no exception. The Finnish craft scene combines Scandinavian precision with a modern, experimental approach, and at 100 Beers, we showcase it through two breweries from Helsinki — CoolHead Brew and Tuju.
CoolHead Brew — Helsinki Craft Without Compromise
CoolHead is one of the most exciting Finnish breweries, known for its wide range of styles and constant pursuit of new flavor boundaries. From juicy NEIPAs and aggressive imperial IPAs to sour beers and dark stouts — CoolHead does everything with character and attention to detail. Particularly interesting is their Glass Pyramid Project — a limited series of smoothie sours and collaborative beers, produced in small quantities in collaboration with some of the best breweries in the world. Each release is unique — with different fruit combinations, new techniques, and creativity that turns every beer into a collectible experience.
Tuju — Hop-Focused from Helsinki
Tuju complements the Finnish presence with an impressive variety of hop-forward styles. From session IPAs and classic pale ales, through NEIPAs in various iterations, to cold IPAs, red IPAs, and black IPAs — Tuju covers the entire hop spectrum. They complete their portfolio with pilsners, bocks, scotch ales, and imperial stouts, proving they are a brewery with depth beyond hops.
