Chimay Triple

"Chimay" (French: Chimay) is a Trappist beer produced and bottled in the brewery of the Abbey of "Notre-Dame de Scourmont" in Chimay (Belgium). Chimay is one of the ten Trappist beer brands. The most popular Chimay brand. A strong beer with an alcohol content of 8.0%. It is distinguished by a dark orange color, strong hop bitterness, a fruity aroma with notes of muscat grapes, raisins, apple and grapefruit and an aftertaste of bitter almonds, honey and bread. It has been produced since 1966. Included in the book "500 beers from around the world that you must try".
