Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock

The Schlenkerla brewery in the German town of Bamberg was the first to start producing smoked beer. Urbock is often called "the big brother of Marzen". The beer is a smoked bock, the smokiness gives it a pleasantly spicy quality combined with a slight malty sweetness. Since it is stronger, it is only available from October to December as an autumn-winter specialty in Germany. Included in the book "500 beers from around the world that you must try".
