Traditionally, every third Saturday of January, the international Baltic Porter Day is celebrated, and one of the main ambassadors of the style worldwide is Põhjala from Tallinn, Estonia, who for the fourth consecutive year are celebrating the unique holiday with a special beer that is poured simultaneously in selected locations around the world.
This year, their special Baltic Porter is an 11% elixir with added bison grass, which gives distinct notes of vermouth.
