California Common style – lager fermented like ale. Brewed using lager yeast and fermented at Ale-type temperatures, it gives the beer a dark but light-bodied flavor. In this brew, we have used 5 different malts, but only two hops, to give the beer a slightly bitter taste. Since malt is the main source of flavor, the beer has a fresh breadiness and a light caramel and toastiness, tied together by a nice hop flavor.
