Aecht Schlenkerla Erle Schwarzbier

For their dark lager, Schlenkerla chooses malt smoked over alder wood. This gives it a slight spiciness and much more complex nuances that combine perfectly with the toasted malt, which also gives the beer its color.
The Schlenkerla brewery in the German town of Bamberg was the first to start producing smoked beer.
