German Craft Beers — Reinheitsgebot, Wheat and Smoked Malt

Germany is the country that turned brewing into law — literally. The Reinheitsgebot of 1516 is still a symbol of German precision today, but behind this framework lies an incredible diversity of styles and flavors. In our online craft beer store, you will find 29 carefully selected German beers — from classic Bavarian wheat beers to smoked rauchbiers from Bamberg and wild-fermented ales that challenge perceptions of what German beer can be.

Weihenstephan — the oldest brewery in the world

Founded in Bavaria in 1040, Weihenstephan is not just a brewery — it is a living history of brewing. With 7 products in our collection, we offer a complete picture of what Weihenstephan does best. Hefe Weiss is the benchmark for Hefeweizen — cloudy, with banana and clove aromas, refreshing and balanced. Original Helles is the perfectly clean Bavarian lager. Korbinian is a powerful Doppelbock with 7.4% — dark, malty, with notes of dark fruits and caramel. And Vitus is a Weizenbock with 7.7% that combines the strength of a bock with the fruitiness of a wheat beer. For the darker side of wheat — Hefeweiss Dunkel offers a richer, breadier interpretation of the style. We also offer a gift set with three beers and an original glass — perfect for a gift or personal enjoyment.

Schneider Weisse — wheat beer as high art

The Schneider family has been brewing wheat beer since 1872 and remains one of the most respected specialists in the style. Tap 1 Hefeweissbier Naturtrüb is the classic Hefeweizen — naturally cloudy, with typical Bavarian esters. Tap 5 Meine Hopfenweisse does something unusual — it crosses wheat beer with generous hopping and 8.2% alcohol, resulting in a surprisingly harmonious product. But the real star is Tap 6 Unser Aventinus — a Weizendoppelbock with 8.5%, dark and complex, with aromas of dark fruits, cloves, and banana, which many consider one of the best dark wheat ales in the world. Bayrisch Hell is the lighter option — a clean Bavarian Helles for everyday. And for those looking for flavor without alcohol, Tap 3 Mein Alkoholfreies proves that non-alcoholic beer can be more than a compromise.

Schlenkerla — smoked beers from Bamberg

If you haven't tried rauchbier, prepare for something truly different. Heller-Trum Schlenkerla from Bamberg has been brewing smoked beers since 1405, using malt smoked over beech wood fires. With 6 products in our selection, this is a complete immersion into the world of rauchbier. Märzen is the classic — amber, with a distinct smoky aroma and a clean, dry finish. Weizen combines the smoked character with the softness of wheat beer. Urbock is the stronger version at 6.5%, richer and more complex. Eiche Doppelbock is the pinnacle — a doppelbock smoked over oak wood, with 8% and a deep, multi-layered flavor. For a lighter entry into the style, Erle Schwarzbier (4.2%) offers a more delicate smoky accent in the body of a Schwarzbier, and Weichsel Rotbier adds a red lager with a cherry note to the palette.

Klosterbrauerei Weltenburg — the oldest monastic brewery

Founded in 1050 in the Weltenburg Abbey on the Danube River, Klosterbrauerei Weltenburg is the oldest monastic brewery in the world. Barock Dunkel is their emblem — a dark lager with a velvety texture, notes of chocolate and hazelnut, and numerous international awards. Asam Bock is a powerful Doppelbock with 7.3%, named after the Asam brothers, who painted the frescoes in the monastery church. Spezial Festbier is the festive beer — golden, malty, perfect for a special occasion. Helle Weise is their interpretation of Bavarian Hefeweizen, and Anno 1050 — a Märzen, named after the year the brewery was founded.

Freigeist Bierkultur × Beer Bastards — Germany's wild side

Freigeist Bierkultur is a project dedicated to reviving forgotten German beer styles through modern techniques, including wild fermentation. In collaboration with Bulgarian Beer Bastards, the Bacchanalia series offers two wild ale beers, fermented in Riesling and Pinot Noir barrels — both with 6% alcohol and a price that reflects the rarity and complexity of these beers. This is the bridge between German tradition and the contemporary craft movement — and between Germany and Bulgaria.

Tucher and Jever — Nuremberg and Frisian classics

Tucher from Nuremberg complements the collection with two interesting styles: Nürnberger Rotbier is a revived medieval style — a red lager with a light caramel character, and Urbräu Hell is a clean, drinkable Helles. Jever Pilsener from Frisia, on the other hand, is one of the driest and most bitter German Pilsners — sharp, fresh, and direct, for connoisseurs of hop bitterness.
